Experiencing Nature's Fate Many, who visit Uzbekistan rarely go farther than Khiva (starting from the capitol) – and in case one loves nature, that is a BIG mistake. Another one, once those who have heard about the Uturt Plateau & the dying Aral Sea, when they go on a 2-day (only) flash tour. We opted for the three-day version, with NO regret. Indeed, it was well worth the additional one more day! Stunning rock faces, rarely seen spots of nature's forces etc. – all not necessarily covered over a 2-day tour.Our tour operator was absolutely perfect, helpful and reliable – everything went as it was planned, professional driver & a professional guide (Kolja, once again, special thanks!).If you are into witnessing unique features of nature, seeing and experiencing how human can destroy the environment unconsciously, then THIS is THE TOUR to take! Highly Recommended!Just a small remark: Note, the yurt camp has all basic features you may need as an adventurer, but please do not expect a 5* hotel! The operators are really kind and helpful though, but you need to understand, that all this facility is out in nowhere.

the best ally for your tour in the Stans We knew we could trust this agency since the first time we got in contact: we didn’t allocate enough time to book trains and hotels during the high season, and Irène+ were the only ones suggesting to reschedule the trip to allow them (and us) to plan everything with calm picking the best possible guides, transfer and accommodation.No advice could have been more appreciated: our guides were excellent, high-speed trains super comfortable, b&b real gems in all the cities we visited and conveniently located.We had several issues with cancelled flights, both in- and outbound, and Irène+ staff were always there for us, flexible and efficient.We also had the opportunity to meet Mikhail in person: a great professional and an amazing companion! Brilliant tour organised by Mikhail can’t recommend highly enough Brilliant tour organised by Mikhail. Transport and tour guides were all great. We visited Tashkent Samarkand and Bukhara as independent travellers. The day tours were excellent, good English extremely informative and enjoyable. Couldn’t have seen nearly as much by ourselves or learned so much about the history. Wouldn’t hesitate to use Irene travel again for anywhere in Asia.

Excellent tour with excellent company We got Irene’s contact from website Caravanistan and were very pleased we chose him. He arranged a tailored 11 day tour of Tashkent-Khiva-Bukhara-Samarkhan-Tajikistan (Penjikent and 7 lakes) and even added Shakhrizabs as an option at no extra cost. The local guides in each city were excellent and each of them added their own personal extra sights at no extra cost. The few minor glitches/improvement areas are not worth mentioning since overall the tour exceeded expectations thanks to Mikhail’s thoughtfulness, attention to detail and constant monitoring.

Silk route comes alive What a remarkable holiday we had, thanks to Mikhail and his team. When we were just wondering about Uzbekistan, he suggested adding Tajikistan and we are so happy to have got it customized with few days of self exploration. Centrally located hotels means we had lots of time at hand for walking tours. All hiccups were instantly taken care of, whether it was the visa or the immigration or hotel canceling at the last moment. Special mention for the guides to the historic cities, who were an institution in themselves. We had so much to learn about the layers of central asian civilizations and their interconnections with the world. The silk route never came more alive for us than this. His passion for central asia was genuinely reflected at the farewell lunch, wherein he ensured we got a taste of the countries we couldn’t visit.Look forward to more interesting travels with him.

We went this November for 11 days all over Uzbekistan and everything was organised perfectly. Mikhail is so passionate for his work and he was informing all the time about everything so as we felt really safe and careless. I am very happy we have chosen this travel agent.
