Day 1 – 2025/11/04 - TUE: Arrival in Beijing
Each traveler will arrive in Beijing on a flight of their choosing from their respective countries, ensuring maximum convenience for your journey. This arrival day is designed to be free from scheduled activities, allowing you time to relax, recover from your travels, and get acquainted with the city at your own pace. On this day, we begin our exploration of Beijing, diving into its essence as a historical capital, a cultural hub, and a city teeming with local life. Our itinerary will take you through key experiences that highlight Beijing’s vibrant heritage and traditions.
The Power Center: We start with a visit to Tiananmen Square, the symbolic heart of modern China and a gateway to the imperial past. From there, we enter the iconic Forbidden City, where we will delve into its magnificent palaces and uncover hidden stories of emperors and dynasties.
Local Life: Next, we head to the traditional Beijing Hutongs, narrow alleyways that offer a glimpse into the city’s communal way of life. Here, we’ll tour the neighborhood by tuk-tuk (or bike, if you like), visiting a local family who will welcome us into their home for a heartfelt lunch of homemade meals.

Day 3 – 2025/11/06 - THU: Beijing to Xi’an
Today, we transition from Beijing to Xi’an, the starting point of the Silk Road, via one of China’s modern high-speed trains. This day highlights the seamless connection between ancient history and modern convenience.
- Travel in Comfort: Board the high-speed train G55, departing Beijing West Station at 09:55 and arriving in Xi’an at 14:05. Enjoy a relaxing journey through the Chinese countryside.
- Historical Exploration: Upon arrival, begin your tour with a visit to Daxingshan Temple, a serene site that played a significant role in spreading Buddhism along the Silk Road.

- Timeless Masterpiece: Start with a visit to the world-famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A golf cart ride will take us to the site where you’ll marvel at thousands of life-sized figures crafted over 2,000 years ago to guard Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s tomb.
- Cultural Heritage: Continue to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a towering structure built during the Tang Dynasty to house sacred Buddhist sutras brought from India.

Day 10 – 2025/11/13 - THU: Dunhuang to Turpan ~ The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty & Oasis of the Desert
After breakfast, we will continue our tour with a visit to The Great Wall of the Han Dynasty (built 206 BCE – 220 CE), located about an hour northwest of Dunhuang. It played a crucial role in protecting the Han Dynasty’s borders and facilitated the expansion of agriculture into northern territories. It also helped secure the Silk Road, a vital trade route.
Another landmark, Hecang, situated in the Gobi Desert, served as a massive military warehouse. By providing a secure and well-stocked supply depot, it helped maintain the effectiveness of the Great Wall.

- Afternoon: Enjoy a Uyghur-style lunch with dishes like lagman, manty, and kebabs.

After breakfast, we will head to one of the most iconic parts of the northern areas of Beijing – The Mutianyu section of The Great Wall of China, renowned for its stunning scenery, which offers a chance to walk in the footsteps of ancient defenders.
- 09:00: Drive to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall (approx. 80 km, 1h30m). Explore the beautifully restored stretch between the 14th and 23rd watchtowers, often referred to as “the most beautiful and interesting part of the Great Wall.” Hike along its gentle slopes and marvel at panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
- Afternoon: Return to Beijing for a short rest before dinner.

- Airport and Hotel Transfers: Transfer drivers will meet you at the airport arrivals or hotel lobby, holding a sign with your name for easy identification.
- Tour Preparation: This tour includes long-haul transportation and outdoor walking tours. Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the season and the activities. Note that in autumn, some mountainous areas may experience cold, windy, or rainy weather.
- Weather Considerations: We do not provide rental or sale of clothing or equipment. Be sure to bring weather-appropriate items, such as sunscreen, hats, or umbrellas, in advance.
- Personal Care: Please ensure you have all the necessary personal medical and care items for the duration of the tour.
- Medical Insurance: Medical insurance is not included in the tour. Travelers must obtain insurance in their home country, ensuring it covers medical assistance in China.
- Dietary Requirements: If you have food restrictions or allergies, contact us in advance so we can prepare a list of suitable meal options based on your instructions.
- Pets: Pets are not allowed on this tour due to hotel and vehicle restrictions, as well as the complex entry and exit requirements for animals in China.
- Special Assistance: If you require special assistance during the tour, please inform us during the booking process to allow us to make necessary arrangements.
- Visa Requirements: The latest visa application requirements can be found here. Your personal presence is required at the Embassy to submit fingerprints. We will provide an invitation letter from a locally registered travel company in China to support your application.

Cancellation:
- We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if the booking is canceled 30 days or less before the event.
